This lumber company’s business has been growing at a rapid rate. They were looking to replace their old mechanical truck scale with something more durable. They also wanted a powerful software to keep traffic moving over the scale by providing fast and accurate data collection.
Industrial Scale & Measurement provided a solution to solve all the current issues the customer is having. With the assistance of Cardinal’s engineers, we developed a software and equipment package that far exceeded our customer’s expectations. We Installed a Cardinal Guardian Hydraulic Truck Scale with an ICan System. This system was tied into Cardinal’s WinVRS Truck and Material Management Software. The truck drivers are able to input specific information about their company and product through Cardinal’s Unmanned Kiosk, called the Satellite. If the driver’s information has already been stored into the WinVRS, he is able to use a barcode or badge ready to recall specific information.
The truck scale system gave our customer the ability to process their raw material faster and generate reports with a click of a button. By streamlining their process, their overall operating cost reduced greatly.
