Description

More than a bench scale, less expensive than an in-motion checkweigher.

The Verifier Checkweigher is designed for the kit industry for verifying assembled kits or components semi-automatically.

Kits or assemblies are placed onto the conveyor, the scale weighs the package, and runs forward for a set time for packages that are on-spec., and runs in reverse for packages out of tolerance. Package rates up to 30 per minute can be achieved on lighter packages.

The most popular use is at the discharge of an automatic kit bagging system. Bags drop onto the Verifier’s conveyor, get weighed, and either move into an accept or a reject bin or box. Other uses include hand-kitted parts or assemblies. The operator completes their kit, sets it onto the Verifier’s conveyor and the kit moves on to the packaging line, or is reversed to the operator for inspection and rework.

A variety of conveyor sizes and scale capacities are available. We offer painted mild steel systems and all SS systems rated for wash-down applications.

Color touch screen scale controls hold 100 recipes in memory, user-set for 3 or 5 zone (low reject, low pass, good, high pass & high reject) outputs. 3-level password protection, audit trail for calibrations.

Ethernet TCP/IP, RS-232 and RS-422 built in. Variety of data formats, connections for data logging and outputs to remote digital displays or HMI interfaces. Optional Ethernet IP and Modbus interfaces available.
